Twisted what are you talking about better built. Second if you knew anything about this hull the hull has a special cut made in it for one and only rudder unless hull has been modified.

Twisted please don't post pictures of that rudder, it wouldn't fit my boat anyway. This boat uses the mhz rudder which is specially made for the boat. Myself and some of the other board members spend a lot of money on MHZ, HPR, and Modelbaupirate hardware for a reason. The companies we buy from really stand behind their products and the customer service is amazing. I spent a ton of money building this boat and to tell someone they should be using a cheap rudder that is built better than the one they just bought is kinda rude man.

Here is some video of the maiden run. I don't think I opened her up in this video, these mhz hulls handle turns unbelievably well. By the end of the run I was just diving into turns at 50mph, this boat reminds me of snow skiing and racing around gates like I did in college.

It was a good day I'll post more pics of the maiden later. My friend chrisg on here gave his hpr 115 its maiden run too, it was a good feeling having the mystic 138, hpr 115, and hpr 135 all run together. Maybe this weekend we'll set cones and have an offshore style race.

Kent is a genius this explains my handling problems. I'm going to have to fill a lot of holes in the back of my boat now lol. I have a scale chris craft laying around this might be my lucky day.

Thanks Wayne you helped me out a lot figuring out these big boats. It feels awesome running a big heavy boat and having it come back with nice and cool electronics.

--So the boat will be sent out for paint in the coming weeks. I might go with a Lamborghini theme and the matching orange paint, or Aquamania and silver paint, or go white with Porsche logos, or....ugh I'll never make up my mind. I think the boat will be kept the way it is until October then motors might be changed out. I feel like the 730kv on 12s is nice as the power to weight is just nicely matched but unfortunately the itch to go faster overcomes the rational thoughts I've had (keeping the boat the same, not changing a thing).

Keith- Thanks Keith for your help hopefully tomorrow I'll get some video of it running wide open I'll stop trying to drive it like its a sprint cat lol

If the power system is replaced I will make the decision to go sf300 escs with tp5850 motors 920 or 1000kv on 12s with reduced 465s and ultimately 460s reduced from x470. Although this boat runs great and around 82-88 mph its hard to ignore all of the praise that's been surfacing around the tp motors.

I punished 5692/730 12S pushing X665 .. giving no heat or Amp issues..

IMO, before the power upgrade, detongue +1/4" barr cut a pair X665 , and give them a spin
They offered a serious improvement in drive 457,465 to 665 ( same power setup in 2 diff cats, and a hydro ).

Nice I'm going to give that a try and see what this thing has got. In NY here I run my boats all year right now the outside temperature is about 90 water temp guessing around 70. In the winter some days I run when its 25 degrees and the water surface temp is around 30 degrees lol. I can't wait to prop this thing up the 5692 730kv motors have some real power to them after a solid 5 minute run they were only 20 degrees over ambient temperature lol.

Thanks Cooper and Savage Skidoo. We bring a generator with us now to recharge packs so there goes my argument that FE boats are better for the environment when people ask if the boat is gas lol. Its a great lake and Cooper its a great place to run in the fall/winter, look forward to seeing your df and fantasm running on our lake here.

I ran the boat again yesterday the drives really have made a difference in how the boat handles its great. I am thoroughly impressed by the hull in time I'll try to get 100mph out of it with 5850 motors but for now as in....the next week or two I'll try to enjoy it the way it is haha.

I will post pictures soon but the boat has received a bit of a power upgrade. swordfish 300 escs and tp5850 920kv motors on 12s. here is some video of it running with the new setup

I have never driven a boat this fast before it covers ground so quickly that its pretty difficult to drive. enjoy the video I don't know the top speed as I don't have gps but my guess is 95-105 mph I think I was close to top speed but always had to let off this thing is going to take some time to get used to.
