Why new fins? the other ones looked good, as for a servo i would just stick with a standard sized servo.
As for the ruder, saw records have been set with that boat a rudder just like that, test it out first then if your unhappy change it.
Yes i did mean COG, sorry.
      Tyler.

i just installed everything and all i need is 12 gauge wires.. the reason why im doing new fins is because im not necessarily gonna be racing on right ovals.. so i am making them both the same size as the bigger one.. also i have heard of stories going around the boat racing community here that they are way to short for any type of racing and it has to be longer.. it a little to late to go back to the smaller one cuz im lovin the one i made last night.. it is now a little longer.. the lenght of it is 2 1/2 inches.. i am gonna have pictures up later.. i got the mamba system but i am not gonna use it for the boat cuz i dont want to take chances in getting it wet and overheated. so i am gonna stick to the 11 and 12 turn motors cuz i got them for cheap.. i am gonna take it out as soon as i get the coupler and wires,,

The flex cable will shorten at WOT. Leave a gap between the strut and drive dog to allow for shrinkage.

the blue battery is for the fan and it will be on that side to help ballance the boat. all of the electronics (escept servo) are velcro'd on so everthing will adjust if i have ballancing issues..

                                I would leave 2.0 - 3.0mm gap.
