Finally ordered a CC Hydra ICE 240A so I don't have to deal with battery pack or BEC. It will be enough ESC for my application.

I have been working on the ESC platform design and location and after doing a mock up with wood blocks everything had to be moved towards the transom 2 1/2" to allow for a better access to the ESC plaform which will be made out of alum. The canopy is also being modified to receive 4 faux exhaust pipes. Here are some pictures of the work in progress.

Here are more progress pics. The ESC platform is ready with plenty of air circulation holes. The motor is now 2 1/2" closer towards the transom and the flex length is shorter too (I belive this will help in a possitive way the boats attitude). I am debating if I should locate the water outlets on deck or on the hull sides (I want to be able to see the water out flow without dificulty).

Looks sick. Still waiting for a scale to get an accurate weight. Almost finished with my Xmas gifts I am making then I can get back to the boat build.

                Hi zx1197r,

Good to see you visited my thread again. I have been a few times to your build thread but did not see new progress I figured it was because of the proximity to the Christmas celebration. What is your take on the water outlets locations do you have any preference for either one? Let us know when you are back into the build. I have opened a thread for 1st time builders requesting help. Very nice work.
I like the T bar. Did that come from Bob Decortin?

                    Hi Doug,

I got it locally from Gizmomotors. It is the GZ T-bar. Here is the link:

I have a question. I am going with a 8S2P setup and would like to see pictures and schematics for such battery setup. Do you know where I can look for it? Are there any suggestion and or advice you can give me about this setup in terms of adding other electronics (antispark loops, bank capacitors, etc.)?

                    Thx

The goal at the beginning of this build was mid 40's. I think I may have found the propeller size I will be using. An X470 at 730Kv and 8S or a Kenzen RC CNC alum partial submerged prop P6718-3-L-P-3/16"-3X3.

Here are the projected speeds at 730Kv and 1280Kv
