Just sayin'. Blowover will be inevitable with 40mm motors.
I don't think I'm gonna use 40mm motors just be nice to have the option if I can get it to handle like I want it to. First setup will most likely be 3674's. I have a friend running a 3674 in a miss vegas hydro and it screams. I will have lots of leftover 4mm carbon plate so I can make a stringer out of that.

I'd like to set this boat up so I have plenty of freeboard on my electronics. I won't be maxing out motor, ESC's, Batts. Shold make for a really reliable setup. And as long as I keep the COG as low as possible it should corner very well. I've built a few of these with single 4082's and they cornered really nice even with the motors up high in the middle

I'm am looking forward to a vid of the carving of corners on this one.It would be nice to compare to mine as I did some ride pad mods.Maybe we can tell if they were beneficial or not.

No real speed goals. Just want to make something with my own personal touch. I would guess that it would be capable of 60+ if I can keep it on the water

So how did you know to put my props inward rotating to stop the hopping Mt.I was getting there but didn't think it would be that noticable,I went from in to out on my 37" cat and that helped it out.

                Oops,and thanks BTW.

Lift is created when the prop blade enters the water. The water is higher under the tunnel because its undisturbed therefor the prop enters the water sooner and creates more lift. I've seen this hull bounce all day long no matter how fear forward you move the batts. But change your lift at the transom and its gone

That makes perfect sense as I have found the steep angle at the front of the tunnel lifts the nose sooner than others(or at least my Shocker). So getting the back up compensates.I must try to remember that for the future. Thanks for the enlightenment.

A fee hull would be the opposite. More lift running outward

It also did the trick on my Shocker,it dioesn't have alot of lift built in to the tunnel. It really helped with spinning out.

Just got an email from the company i ordered my CF panels & tubes from. Said it'd be 11/19/12 - 12/06/12. WOW I guess this project will be on hold for a while. I'll prolly find something I can do till then. Here's my stinger design.

Cool. You know there are $20 1700kv outrunners on ebay that easily run 1300+ watts on 4-6S.

Someone did a 32"KOS with them and they worked very well. I'm tempted to try one of these with those motors...

Looks like I'll be looking for a cheap MG or the like hull only this winter. Cheap cheap if possible!

I was originally looking to use out runners but decided to opt for the inrunner leo's. I'm not too concerned about price, I don't want to skimp and I don't want to blow $1000 on ESC's and Motors. Some where in between. I guess.
