Don't know about the extra layer of CF's affects on 2.4 Ghz radio transmission. I know if the hull is CF, then you must route the antenna outside. I use Tactic which has no antenna, but only on FG hull. On the boats where I use Spektrum Marine Radio system I have done both ways, one outside and one inside ( receiver has two wire antennas).
I tried to run them both inside but I tape one under the hatch with electrical vinyl tape. ( the higher it is from the water , the better) It worked on the Delta Force 26. But on my MHZ Lizard Xtreme, it did not work so well: maiden came to an abrupt stop due to loss of signal and the receiver automatically goes to NO Throttle. ---forgot the term for this situation.
I would put the antenna outside if I were you, it looks like it is on the short side so it would not be a long stick poking out. Just my $.02.
Too many boats, not enough time...

As Steve clearly stated , it is considerably larger. Two upper holes line up perfectly. Two lowers will be considerably lower than original rudder. I will have to cut a 3/16 V notch in the center of the right side trim tab in order to not modify the rudder bracket. All in all I think it will be just fine. I'll post pics tomorrow. I have to go to LHS to get some Fiberglas fiber to mix with the West epoxy to fill the other two holes. Still think I'll put 1/8" light ply doubler as a safety.

I agree the Tracxas TQi receiver has a short antenna lead that I'll route outside the hull.

Hi everyone My plan is to place one full sheet of my 4.8 oz CF/Kevlar on the bottom of hull, then full length sheet on each side, then top of hull that I can reach. Also line the hatch with one layer. Does this sound correct? Is one layer with brushed West Epoxy sufficient?

                Restart the build.

Back at it again, today finalized the transom layout. Epoxied in a 3/32 light ply over the composite transom because I had to fill a couple holes that were in the wrong place after changing my rudder to the longer 4" reach Speedmaster with dual water pickup.
Laid out the power equipment in the hull to get an idea how everything will fit. I am waiting for the Dynogy batteries from Mark before I can determine the COG. Also have a Traxxas TQi, 5 channel telemetry receiver and waterproof 125 oz torque Traxxas servo on the way. I have the CF/Kevlar cut and ready to put in the hull tomorrow after everything dries up that I placed today. I will have to put in a tray to locate the ESC and also one for the water proof receiver box.
                Pictures below.

If you see anything in the pictures that is questionable please let me know. The batteries in the picture are from my RC Race truck just to see how they will fit. The foam is just a spacer for now.

It's gonna be tough accessing the motor mount adjustment bolts with the servo mounted rite next to it no?

Personally I would mount esc rite behind the motor to keep the wires as short as possible

Yeah, move it to another location or use lay down type mount

Did you want your water jacket inlet and outlet facing forwards?

                            Hey,

You should rethink your setup inside of the hull,
Down the line you may want more speed and bigger cells to do it with,
So just trying to think a head for your setup in the future.
Your servo, Like 3" from transom next to the stuffing and receiver on other side of tube and than cells,
                            And than motor and esc,
If your stuffing tube is to short and low it will let water in.
Hear link for some info on that hull.
