In your opinion which is better, ATOS or Heifi/Swordfish? big price difference between the 2 controllers.
          Need a esc for a a 2.33er running Neu 2230's

            Hello

at the moment the atos is better.
I can drive with the Atos about 7 mph faster as with the Hifeis by same setup (Lipos,Motors,Props)
            But i work on it.
            bye

              Hello

somthing new from the big Mystic.
I had changed the esc's to the new Flier(Fightercat) 380 Amps esc.
              The esc's work very well.
Working Temperatur is low.Controlling is very good.
They work much better as the 300amps Hifei.
The small TP motors is allso running best.
Motors have about 30 running times in the big boat without problems.

Here the last Video with 65mm props.

              bye

Nice! What do you like better about the Flier than the Hifei?
The Hifei ESCs for me have been bulletproof...the Fliers have been more unpredictable...

                    Hello

Programming of the esc is very easy with the computer.
Throtle Range makes the esc automatic.
                    The Hifei is realy bulletproof.
                    But it has several problems.
Programming the Throttle Range is not so easy with a pistol Transmitter.
When you prog the Range normal you have only 80% of the range and the esc goes not full power.
Second problem the Hifei is saving himself. You can turn off the low voltage cut off or set it to the lowest point but the esc slows down when the current is to high.
With the big boat when you drive a turn ,slowing down and when you want to speed up again it takes some time that the esc speed up again.
Temperature of the Hifei is at the moment up to the limit.
Temperature of the fets is at the moment at 118 °C (Limit of the Hifeis is about 125 °C)

I test the Flier esc at the moment how much i can go with it.
Next time i mount bigger Props.

                    bye

my radio is a Futaba T4PK.
I think it is one of the best radios for driving boats

I'm a huge fan of what your doing! I have the esc,s that your running. I also run the TP motors In boats and in my custom 1/5 scal 4x4 buggy.

The sss5694 motor in my buggy is scary and fun at the same time I run it on 8s that I got from Cathy as well. It runs very cool as well. The pair of 4s mached nano run in series and discharge rating is 65-130c. My next boat build I will try the Nano A-tech they are the very best in the Nano line. I was looking at the 60 Fightercat but looking at what your doing i think that I will look at the MZH line. I have a 25 dollar coupon I can use there. I wonder what the shipping would be to send it state side?

Yes, I experienced most of the same with the Hifei. First run was slow and data logger revealed only 78% throttle max. I moved the throttle travel on my remote to 150% and corrected the problem.
I also noticed the somewhat "soft start" under acceleration, but it didn't really bother me. I didn't notice it slowing down when the current was high though...I pulled up to 350A each and it seemed pretty steady. What were you using for timing? The "auto" setting caused a lot higher current draw on mine but not much of a performance increase. I found Medium to be a good setting, but I'm not sure what actual numbers the settings represent.
