              Hello

my settings on the hifei 300

Timing automatic, curent was same as with timing middle, but RPM was with automatic higher.
PWM 12Khz,at 8Khz the max RPM was to low.
Lipo cut off at the lowest setting which is possible.

The TP Motors are very good.
I run a smal 4060-1800 in a 1/5 2WD Offrad Car (FG Marder) with a Turnigy 180 Boat Esc and 3s2p Lipo with 10000 mah.
Car runs 22 minutes with a speed of 55 kmh (34 mph) without Problems. After the run esc and Motor is cold.

              bye

                Mudl,

I think your experience with the Hifei may have been different than mine due to the difference in motors. I ran two different 4 pole motors, and yours is 6 pole. I have had some issues with certain ESCs when running 6 pole motors. Some will not spin full RPM, and do not run smoothly at full RPM. I found on the FC (Flier) ESCs that if raising the PWM did not help, lowering the timing could sometimes mitigate the problem. One of the good things about those ESCs is the ability to raise and lower timing one degree at a time.

Thanks for sharing your build...the information you gain with these parts is very valuable for everyone and your boat is beautiful!

Awesome boat. How do you transport a boat this size unless you just dock it at the marina? Any pics of it in/on your car/truck/van?

WOW Twisted, boat looks sick. Volvo s60 would work well for transporting larger boats. Looks like the Hifei escs are working well as two used schulz controllers showed up in the buy n sell section.
