    Hi Kent,

just as a hint, running partial throttle like 75% with a 100mph setup can be quite dangerous either to ESC or motor. I'd recommend either to start with smaller props which makes it easy for 100% throttle or simply dare to do it. Partial throttle will stress your components way more than giving 100% throttle and creates also a lot of heat.

    regards,
    Manuel

MHZ has the rght stuff for her: 1/4" flex shaft right and left. MHZ rudder and "hydraulc" steeringdummies, Trimax by MHZ. Powerplants will be 2x Proteus motors 910KV on 10s lipo. I am wainting for an answer of Skyrc for their new high voltage Swordfish esc. They are working at it. Props will be done by Andy Brown (L&R props). I'll also have plans to watercool the lipo's although they perform better when they are a little bit warm.
As for the buildng thread, I own an url which will be used a website or buildingblog.

SKYRC has no relationship with products from Hifei of ChongQuin 重庆
That said, I am interested in any reviews you would give these units, if you chose that path.

Hello folks, just some updates....I have glued in the new 5mm flex cables instead of the 3/16's looks to be a big difference! I also got the nice collets from model boat pirate. Have also stripped the hull tonight and started sanding. "Time for a nice paint job" should have her ready in about a week or so?

Wayne, Hifei has indeed no relationships to Sktrc but in my opinon it is free to use the name swordfish for an esc by any company unless it is registrated name. Skyrc has already an esc called Swordfish: http://www.skyrc.com/index.php?route...product_id=111

Hello, now that she is at the painters ive been working a abit on the new design. Someone has to be the first right? I always like simple layouts so I'm trying this one soon as I get her back.
