Link from todays run with the LMT 2280's didnt go for 8s on the small lake but hit 129.8km/h (80mph) on 6s

Definetly out of lake, good thing is all returned under 37c hopefully soon can install 8s and go for my 100mph run. But as always today was good fun.

Well, I think they are trying a bit :) 457 cut to 52 still look like a mean a$$ prop! and the harder you spin it, the more the motors will suffer. I do think the 2280's are the right choice for that size hull :).
....and yes you're right, its kinda quiet, but I have done what I can to cut down vibration around the drive area (carbon coated tubes) perfectly aligned, and installed a cross rod to take some resonance away from the hull. also motor mounts are a 1/4 thick. I guess everything has a say?? my Leopards run kinda quiet on the bench, Lehners make a bit more noice maybe due to the internal cooling fan.

Anyway, you're welcome to ride on the lake anytime.....

So it was present time (again) got some nice 8-5mm collets, gundart 5mm shaft and the famous Anti Blitz connector. "thanks to Manuel" for sourcing the parts for me. Will spend some time over the weekend to get them installed.
