        There was a little bit to much flex in the bottom, so took care of that with a layer of Carbon/Kevlar

          Goodies!!

          Rudderblade a little bit to long, so this will be shortened

              The carbon kevlar looks sweet. They run well those monos.
              Before anyone else asks. Were did you get that stinger,looks different.

                Thanks!

                I got it from here: http://www.horracing.com/product_inf...64e34jkjobqnf4
                Its a nice thing as you can adjust the length of the drive by just screw it in or out.

                  Ok, ive done a little bit more:

                  Lined up engine and brass tube

                  Get everything in place at desired CG and mark it with some painters tape

                  Equipment out of the boat and sand the places were the glue needs to come

                  Done!

                  Use a Lipo and old big Brushed engine as weight for lipo tray

                  Now have to wait untill the Polypox700 (2comp glue) has done his work (Should take approx 24 hours) before I can continue

                    Very nice build my friend. I'm looking to build almost the exact setup. Same stinger, but different longer trim tabs, but I'm not sure I can get them to fit right. I was thinking maybe using mounting the rudder on the left side so I can turn the bracket to the outside of the boat so I have room for the taller trim tabs. Also, I was planning on using the leo 4082 1800 on 5S I wasn't sure if the 2000 would handle 5S, any thoughts?

                      mtbenjamin,

                      I dont think it need bigger taps. do you have them already, otherwise you can maybe swap them for smaller ones?
                      I would not put the rudder on the left myself.
                      Your motor and lipo setup should be good!

                        I guess I wouldn't have to mount it on the left side I would just have to turn the bracket around so that the screws are closer to the side. Thanks for the helps remmie. I'll post some pics once I make some progress. I'm still waiting for parts. Thanks again my friend.

                          man that is not alot of glue around that motor mount, i did something similar to that and motor came unglued might want to considered a little more reinforcement especially during a high speed crash

                            Yeah I usually add a small piece of cloth on both sides of each support. I learned that the hardway.

                              @Travis,
                              Your welcome

                              @Steve
                              Thanks for your feedback.
                              Normally I first "tack-down" the motormounts with 5min epoxy and then fix them with 24 hours epoxy.
                              This time I wanted to go stronger because of the reason you just gave (high speed crash) so directly started with the 2comp glue as far as I could reach.
                              Tomorrow when the glue is hard, i can take out the motor and reinforce the innersides.

                              EDIT: normally I do use cloth for reinforcement but this Polypox glue is extreme strong stuff. In my gas-engines boats the engine rails dont come loose with only use of this glue.
