What I posted is for checking the cells voltage, balance, and capacity used/available. We use it at the pond or when we run cars and trucks.
    It's not a charger.

What prop are you gonna run buddy? I would put your 120 in the geico and the geico esc in your first, project boat. The geico esc is solid but the 120 is much better. The ul1 motor will really tax the stock esc and probably take it out given the time. I'm on my phone so that is all for now.

There should be pads for mounting the batterys in the boat mason. Also you will want to check the cog once you place the batteries in and make sure they are strapped in good. This boat will move a lot faster then your first one so have everything mounted down, dont have anything loose man!

A good place to start would be to download the Manual from Proboats website they will give some ideas about battery placement and will give you a general overview of the boat.

GET SOME GREASE FOR THAT FLEX!!! LOL When your at the hobby shop look for some of the grim racer speed grease or equivalent it's good stuff and your flex shaft will last that way.
CF Fightercat Daytona, 21 year old Hitec Sea Nymph, Genesis and many more to come im sure.

about the ESC.Glad to see you got it.Before you go to the lake put the boat on a table or flat suface with the prop and rudder hanging off.Your strut should be even/level with the table with your sponsons/ridepads pressed flat on the table.BTW I use a piece of glass for this.

About the grease,I found Lucas Marine grease(blue) at the auto parts store and it works fantabulous.Three or four runs and when I get home there is still some on the shaft, not much but some.

so i added a couple things to the MG today, first i soldered on the traxxas connector on the esc and on one lipo. i need to get another female traxxas. now, i have a problem with one of my turnigy 120a, one works fine, the othermakes the beep then stops before the lipo tone to tell what lipo your running. the other one does this. what happened? well i also figured out what im doing with the proboat, im going to put the lipos back as close to the transom, on either side of the servo deck etc, then the esc is next to the motor "so the wires can reach" i dont know if this will make the boat unbalanced? i have the servo, reciever, and a lipo on the right side. esc, and lipo on the left. im thinking with the off set rudder on the right side, the boat will be pretty even. also, the cog is about 6-7 inches from the transom. i will be trying to get some marine grease, trx plugs and the balancer adapter. i need to do all this before memorial day weekend... should have plenty of time...

You don't mean the batteries off the trays and in the back do you Mason?I would start with them at the edge of the back of the trays.I run mine 1" up from the rear of the trays, but mine is a completely different setup.

The trays would have started at 4" from the inside of the sponson. You should mark this with tape or something so you can have a reference point in the future.
