Yep spot on ABC - I thought RAW Octura's was bad LOL. Speaking of Prop Shop, I just got an email from them, my 4518/3 has yet to be cast, and worked on. 2-3 weeks away - What Tha' - its a prop, and a popular one at that. Anyway did you get the 1717?

All cast props arrive needing work, ppl... unless you pay for s7b from a shop like Steve's here at OSE.
After a while you'll learn what mods to a prop best suit your boat, and will s+b+mod yourself.
Plenty of ppl for a few $$ will s+b if you're either novice or lazy !

I do understand that props come RAW but I saw that propshop come sharpened and balanced no?

here is a part of the email:
......Prop-shop and he informs me that you order will be despatched within the next 2-3 weeks as unfortunately we do not have the castings in stock that you have ordered. These will need to be cast, finished, balanced etc

(that sort of tells me they are ready to go when I get them) @ the $$ they better be. consider Octura's are in the $14 mark and those here are like $120 aus !! for 2 but still

I may have to polish the stingers so that they are all Blingey with the CF.I really want a nice set of three blades but that is the first order from Propshop.I'll have to get some for the 1717's.HEhe..Which hull to get?Guess I shouldn't say that.I don't have a return PM yet.

Hehe Yeah! bring on the bling!! ill post the props when I get them. Regarding hull, my next project would be MHZ 1380 or 1500 of cause in the back of my head HPR 1300-1500, something bigger for sure, but not a million to power. Gets really expensive with big hulls. Not that this one is cheap LOL

Keep your 2280's for the bigger hull.. if there's any real hope to buy one that big, save $1000's and keep the motors, m8.

I'd have to be careful how large as well.I only have a Shortbox GMC pickup. And if they get too pricey I should be able to sit in it.

With props, why Wrong?? their website states all our props are sharpened bla bla....

I may not get a bigger hull, If I do I will have a think of what to do. I wouldnt hang onto something just incase I do, its not on order so its not a definete. For now this build is enough, and I need to get it going the way it should. Maybe even sell to get something bigger. The money tree has lost all its leaf's
