Look at mine..Thats all it takes..

Its ok then silicon tubing is actually not touching the shaft at all its too big so I still get a bit of grease in the boat. Water no longer comes up the tube since I made some mods. I keep the silicon tubing there now because it will help stop cable whip since my stuffing tube is a bit short.

I have always used the grimracer stuff and haven't seen any glitter in the actual grease. After use, like in my Pursuit a screw came loose, motor mount slipped and the wore away my spacer causing glitter/shavings everywhere in the Hull. It looked like a good morning to go out to the lake but a big black cloud is now threatening me.

So how about running 4s 5000mah 45-90C batteries in this set-up? I have 2 coming but not sure about the weight of 2 in parallel. Will probably run 1, open the hatch replace batt then run the other??

Ran the boat today. Was very choppy but overall the boat performed badly. 30MPH Max. I did increase the angle on the stinger by 5 degrees which increased speed slightly. Don't know if I should increase any more but can't really think of anything else. Ran it with a M645 for 1 min and the motor was warm so will probably settle at M445. Lipo was 4s 5000mah 30-40c - connection was solid on the bullets. Timing may be off on esc? or as I bought a used motor 10x I guess it may be weakened?

Will upload video now but I will warn you its like the boat was on 3s zzzzz I also have a video of the motor revs -doesn't sound quite right.

Hmm..dosent look like its spinning up even half of what it should..Maybe try re-programming your esc..It should be going way faster than that..You are full throttle right?

Yh full throttle. Esc is on setting 5. Timing 15 degrees . LVC is set at 3.4 V per cell.
As soon as I get to 1/2 throttle that seems it...... even if I press the throttle in more. It doesn't go any faster.
I have my throttle end point adjuster set at 120% should I drop it back to 100%?
                  Is 15% right

I just found a setting on my FLYSKY TX that said ABS (auto-brake) It was on normal.
I have now turned it off and I am pretty sure the motor sounds better. And the power now increases as I pull the trigger more.
I hope that is it. Bit of a silly setting to have on a TX IMO.
Problem is now the weather is set to be bad all week so I won't be able to test it out.
Was freezing out the lake today and nearly lost my dog as he fell in a hole.
Took my Apparition with me but 60MPH and chop = so I didn't run it.

I agree, i would address this. When too long, the unsupported bit of flex can get to wobbling and tear up the stuffing tube, the motor mount and can even bust through the hull. If you hear any loud thumps or rattles, let off throttle immediately.

Thanks for clearing up this point more. I will work on that in the next few days.

OK I will be extending the stuffing tube, not pulling it. Ray put that stuffing tube in there and covered in a ocean of epoxy. It would take hours chiseling away. I will match the tubing size then add an adapter over the top and seal it in place. Or something like the above. So 4s 45-90 Lipos are not overkill in this boat? I should be receiving a couple in a few weeks.

I bet you got it fixed..The SK manual says to be sure to have the ABS brake off..

So since the ABS cuts out 50% power at the normal setting I should be able to get my goal of 55MPH on full power if I got 30.01 on half.
Like all Mono's mine is going to the side of the rudder ...the right. I can either counter-act this by using the rudder or where I place the batt.
Mike what was it you done exactly? You seem to have jammed a bit of metal in the side behind the stinger to angle it. Can you get me a few more pictures.
                                LMK thanks
