Delta Force Cyber Storm Red Pics + Need Tips

    DSC_1063.jpgDSC_1065.jpgDSC_1066.jpgDSC_1067.jpgDSC_1068.jpg

Here's my Newest boat bought from Fuller's Fast Electrics. Collected from the Parcelforce Depot today after having to pay £52/ $85 customs charges
Came with hardware, 4074/4082 mount, water cooling tubes. 187 3/16 Flex Cable
Have bought a CC1515 2200kv to go in it, a Machined 1515 mount, a M645 Prop to run and looking for a Turnigy/Seaking 180 Esc. Plus I still need that HRC water jacket.

Need a few tips as to where to put everything. Would like the motor to sit right at the back, esc to the other side, 4s batt probably in parallel in front (need those parallel 5.5mm bullets let me know if you can make some up for me) Might even make a slot for the GPS to sit in.

Let me know what you think!

those parallel bullets are easy to make i made mine with 2 bullet on bottom and one on top instead of flat across that i have seen, if you have a vice or something to hold them together it makes it easy. then use larger heat shrink to wrap it

I now have everything for this build except the cooling jacket which hasn't arrived yet. I plan on making battery compartments on Velcro stands. To fit 5s 5000mah 35c+ batteries. Still looking for pictures of other builds that work well. Once I have everything and a plan I will start the build. Will get some pictures of every step.

          Few more pictures here with the;
          CC 1515 2200KV E-Revo version
Motor Mount made by Herve on this Forum (stands a bit high so need the bottoms taken off)
Seaking 180AMP ESC with extra caps added by myself
Also have the Thrust Bearer, Large Spacer and a 3 Piece Stainless Collet from Kintec Racing(find these the best!)
Currently have a flaming Eagle on the front but think a Eagle ripping through a flag might be better.

Heres some pics with the new Lethal Threat Rip n Tear Eagle on the front. Looks a lot better to me. Haven''t seen it put on a boat before usually made for Bikes.
The water Jacket from Ben(Fightercat) is on the way, gonna hacksaw the mount down to size today. Need to make a upright stand for the esc, have seen properchopper do it on here before for a customer. Still waiting on my bullet connectors from china, they have holes through each to make parallel connectors out of. The motor is pretty much staying where it is in the pictures, esc just in front vertically, then battery stands just in front of that.

Ok so the water jacket arrived today from Ben (Fightercat) He had sent it off to get anodized by accident so its black but looks good and will hold up better. The motor mount has had its legs cut off. Was standing too high. It also require a lot of sanding down to line it up with the shaft. Mount has been epoxied in place. First with HK Steel Epoxy then with standard stuff. That mount will not be moving. I then applied some velcro to both the back of the motor and the underside of the esc and stuck them together. Velcro is holding it in place but the ESC will require a bit of support in front. Need to make some battery stands now. Any ideas??

Hi Tim, I recommend you toss that servo mount and install a nice aluminum one. I have already pulled that cheap thing apart. Also, consider laying in epoxy around the wooden stuffing tube mount. That BIG BLOCK you have will tear that wood out very quickly. TTYL BG

I will get right on it. Just checking the cooling at the moment. That motor is truly a torque monster.

My pursuit has a 2364kv 4074 size Keda motor and runs a X442 with no heat probs. I have seen a Pursuit with a 4074 Leopard 2200kv run a M645 with no probs so I'm pretty sure that the CC1515 2200kv won't have a problem. But if it does I will let you know so you can say "I told you!"

Have fitted a Aluminium servo mount, I did you the 2 pieces of wood that were there before to act as guides and coated it all in epoxy. The wooden stuffing tube mount has also been bathed in epoxy and then I have applied a permanent red marker over it so it blends in Have added a hatch grip bolt and the aerial is now also fitted. Currently working on a battery stand.

All hardware was supplied with the boat already fitted from Fuller's Fast Electrics. It's pretty good quality stuff.

You have too much exposed flex shaft between the collet and stuffing tube. Id pull the tube and put in a longer one. You only need 1/4" max gap between the two.
