neewbie boat build?

This is an expensive hobby, and whatever boat you buy after a few runs you want a bigger and faster. If you never had an R/C boat before buy an RTR otherwise you will end up with nothing on the water. The SV27 is a very fast boat but if you cannot afford it try something cheaper from e-bay (cyclone etc...). Then if you find more money start modifying it, change motor,esc,batteries.

anyone that has the reef racer 2, does the charger and battery come with standard size tamiya connector or a mini tamiya connector?
