Yup, Thanks Phil, she was on the porch last night when i got home. Thanks again.
I have not opened the box yet.
As shooter said, i will do it at MMEU's practice tonight to show it off before I start the build.
And yes Pete, I was asking you, when do I get my "onboard hydro retrieval system"...lol. I have got to start paying you for these.
I apologize and will not hijack this thread any longer.

Finally got most of the bugs worked out. Seems to be turning a lot better now. GPS showed a solid 62mph

      VIDEO LINK:

M545, 4S, Leopard 4082, 6oz in the tip of each sponson.

Looks great! What bugs did you have and what did you do to work them out? Mine developed a slight hop in the corners. We found the turn fin had developed a bend in it. Have a new fin to try as soon as I get a chance. And I think the rudder got bumped and moved a little.

Sorry for the delay. The CG is 1-5/8" from the back of the sponsons. It's very fast (62mph), but very heavy at 8lb. I'll shoot over some pics, but I think you might want to talk to Mike. His boat is set-up worlds better than mine!! He eats me up with a UL-1 motor and esc!

Here's a top view of the layout. It's a fast, fun setup with long run times.

Woah! I really fell behind here. I had the same problem, and found a bent turn fin as well. The weight of this boat really taxes the fin in the corners. That was my biggest bug. I also played with numerous props and ended up sticking with an M545. The M445 runs nice as well. She was wobbling in the turns again the other day and I blew over (very rare), but I had found the rudder completely loose!

Shooter funny you posted this today. We just got back from running and this new turn fin works GREAT. Most of the bounce is gone and she handles like a different boat. Notice the new fin really grabs in the corners now. I ended up having to turn down my steering rates. Very happy again, now I just need to learn to drive better. lol
