I'm with tiqueman on this one ,when hydrojerry walked about 20feet one of the esc rearmed,But also when we brought the boat in the first time,HJ unpluged the batt's and when he repluged the first esc it went full blast,Man that made me worried about the boat inthe water,That's all I need to see is the boat shooting out of the water doing 60 plus ,

Me and chud went to the lake today to tryput his newly setup DF33 and for me to try out the twin again,,i reset the esc on the side that was giving me problems, only reset it for 5s lipo and it ran ok from the begining with still using the Tactic radio system, it ran ok for the first few laps but once i tryed to give it some real throttle it went back to doing the same thing as before!!! I got chud to vid it for me to show, let me no what you guys think,, http://vimeo.com/30246377

Again I can't watch it from my phone for some reason, but if its fine running easy and craps out trying to go wot, its a power issue. Either your batteries can't supply it or you have something going on with an esc. What props are you running?

Im running two 442's and i was only trying ti go atleast half throttle, but its only the one side the other motor i think was running ok maybe both,, i did check all the little caps on the bodies of the esc's and found one just alittle loose!!!! does that mean the esc is bad,,

I've never had a loose cap on an etti. I have 4 150s and none are loose. Maybe that's the issue? Do you have different escs you can try out? Or another 150?

That looks to me like LVC from a voltage drop under acceleration. (Or like T said, an ESC cap issue)

IF the ESC senses the voltage drop below the LVC range under acceleration, it could act like this.

This is very common, IF the lipos are older or have been run down too low or for some reason just won't give up the juice.
OR if there's a weak delivery medium. Such as a high resistance connection or too long of wiring for the amps needed.

What's the final setup? 5s with what kv motors? What Mah / C rating and how old are the packs?

442 is a great prop for ~35k rpm and pulls about 1200 - 1500 watts per side.

On 5s running a little wet @ 35k RPM, you should see about a 75 - 80 amp draw per side.

I just got to watch it, definitely one or the other. Batteries are crappin out or you have an issue with one of the escs. Kinda seems like the whole thing is shutting down though. Id try some different batteries first. Or rig in 2P to see if it makes a difference. Even if they dont fit right, make them. Its just to test it.

the range dosent seem to be the problem Rumdog,, when i hit the throttle from like 1/4 to say half it freaks out!!! i can reset the LVC but dont no how i would rig two P to try it,, the 5s lipos i have are pritty new like within the mounth old and they charge up fine, ive only charged them like 3 times maybe,, and they push my Genesis like a bullet with my leopard and swordfish 200 esc,,

                          This one? 540 9XL 1,853 RPM / Volt

                          5s / 1850kv w/442's = 900 watts per motor and ~120 amps total approximately

Next I would put an amp meter or eagle tree on the system to find out what the volt / amp patterns look like.

PS- You could easily use two cheap 120 ESC's in that setup for testing.

I wonder if you have a bad solder connection on one of the motor bullets? Far shot but its easy to cut heatshrink and just heat your connections until it melts then shrink it back up. Did you figure out if one side or both sides are doing it? If its one side swap escs around and see if it moves to the other side. What's your timing on?
