I can make the shaft/flex but you will need to get the teflon from OSE

I strongly recommend going with 0.187" flex cable, not 0.150". The latter is weak enough to fail using the 9XL motors and props big enough to go fast.

the .187 is 3/16 wright, so it would end up being 3/16flex and 3/16 stub wright???

May I suggest when you order your flex shafts you order 2 or 3 sets> Ask me how I know ... better yet ask Jeff how I know!

I was at the South River RC store awhile back and Jim gave me a couple of collars with set screws ... these go between the collet on the motor and your flex shaft. If your collet loosens up it keeps your shaft from falling out and losing it and the prop!

I'll see if I can post a picture over the weekend!

                            Loving the CF Miss Geico.
It is certainly one of a kind and first time I have seen it done.
                            Keep up the good work!

Also looking at the side photo it looks like you didn't pull out the inside of the S on Miss or it didn't get cut right??

OK so i moved on to my rudder,, i first made a template of the rudder bracket then taped it the the hulls rudder extension evenly, i matched a drill bit to the size of bolts i was useing and drilled the holes out,,then i put the bolts in the rudder bracket and measured the rest of the bolt length and cut some tubing alittle short of the bolts length,,i then drilled the holes in the hull just alittle bigger so i could force the tubing in the hull and pushed them in level with the outside edge.. then i will fill the inside of the hulls rudder extension aruond the tubes and let it harden, this way when i tighten the rudder bracket bolts they wont compress against the hull, only against the tubes...some pics !! PS i learned this from my bud Tiqueman,,,thanks Scott..
