I have a big block of styrfoam that im going cut to shape to fit in the sponsons before i lay the decking & i will have some stuffed inside the front of the tub as well ...
hope to finish this with in a weeks time , all my hardwear & motors have turn up for my next build , a 44" Avenger Pro cat , im dropping in 2 leopard 5682 1670kv motors on 6s each , will post that build in a few weeks .

That oughta work perfect! One other question/suggestion: are you planning on reinforcing?
I would be reinforce the entire tub with FG or CF - you want that as rigid as humanly possible; any flex will cause you drag.

One other idea: you might want to place her on a building board before reinforcing and applying decking; this will ensure a true and square hull, since you don't have any bulkheads to help.

Got all the hardwear in place today & mounted the motor & made a servo mount , the build at this stage weighs 4- 1/2 lbs with the motor , servo & hardwear... just got to make the two side skirts that run down behind the sponsons then i can lay the decking ..

Got all the bottom of the hull finished , just have to lay the decking & seal it & im ready to rock & roll , im quite happy how it turned out , the hull is nice & true , well its straighter than my AQ UL1 . it weighs just under 5 lbs without the lipos

By the way the stock ones run that should be a great boat to drive/race, the UL-1s seem so stable right out of the box, I was impressed with my 1/12 scale elam but it seem s the faster I go the more sponson walking I get, I have added a UL`1 strut etc. for adjustability, we`ll see,
