    Keith's FC Daytona Twin

It will probably be a few before I get started with this one, but I figured I would post some pics up. I keep seeing this hull on the shelf and it just looks so pretty. Thanks to Ben for the paintwork!

Most of the stuff for the build is in the pics. I'm not dead set on using the outrunners in the pics yet, I may use tacon 3674 inrunners instead, but either way they will be 1300kv.
Power will be 8s lipo. My single engine cat runs 8s on a 3674 1300kv and it has probably been the most efficient combo I have found to date. I have a pair of x442's to get started with, and a pair of 3 blade 1.6p ABC props to experiment with as well.

Great looking boat and esc's ! My concern would be the lack of support on those long drives, I would figure a way to brace them to the upper part of the transom....

Building the same hull...pics to come when I start. Yes, those are LONG stingers but they are meaty. I am considering beefing up the transon for sure...maybe aluminum plate.

I would beef the transom a little for the stingers too , just incase of blow over and it hits hard.....thats all...

Thanks for the input guys. I had some nasty oral surgery on Saturday morning so I've been a bit out of it but I should be getting started on this soon. I will reinforce the transom, as well as most of the inside of the hull with carbon fiber.
You guys are right: These stingers are monsters!

Castle ICE 120HV. Rated to 12s@ 120A, although the ICE escs have been known for being able to take much more. I pulled over 200A on my 160ICE regularly and it never broke a sweat

Ok...I sold a couple things and was able to raise enough money to order a pair of 3674 Tacon 1300kv motors for this boat, so that will be the power. They should be here at the end of the week so hopefully I can get them mounted this weekend (still have to make the mounts).

I got some carbon laid on the inside of the hull, double layered on the sponson transoms for extra support:

I did a write up on it here:

That should help anyone looking to try out carbon fiber. Im not sure if you have to join that forum or not to follow the link...but try it and see. If it doesnt work its really easy to join.
