    Fightercat Daytona

Finally got started on this. Single drive, Neu/CC 1515 1y Fine Design offset strudder. Should be fun. I may just build this to sell if anyone is interested. It will most likely get the CC MMM esc as well.

Are you looking to go dry in this hull or do you plan on water cooling the motor and /or esc? I am doing a build right now with absolutely no water cooling...should be interesting...

Water cooling the motor. And yes, mamba monster esc. It will work fine. I've done it before.

Let me know if you want any vinyl for it. I'll be happy to cut some up for ya.

Hmmm, vinyl huh? Maybe. Should have the parts to finish her up tomorrow hopefully. Should be a fun boat to run. Very easy hull to build and work with as well. No reinforcing needed!

Yeah, I've got some Oracal black, white, diamond plate, carbon fiber and some funky sparkle effect. I can cut whatever artwork you want in a single color.

I also have some 42mm motor supports that should be here in a few days. That mount is stout though, so might not even need tail support. I'm using that same mount with a 1717 and no problems.

Cant recall. Ask the guy who posted above you. He is the importer for these.

I will be starting on mine soon. New 100mm stingers and FC motor mounts with Leopard 2200 twins and 2x 180 ESC with 5S each and 447 L&R cut down to 445s and tweaked...should be good for 70ish easy.

Oh, cermic bearings going in to the 100mm stingers.

Thats the setup I run in my Maritimo. Except the CC/Neu 1515 2200's. Expect much more than 70.

I wil l be starting a Daytona build very soon as well
Just got the hull today and I cant wait to get started. I ordered outrunners for it but I have considered running a twin setup based on the single setup that I run in my River cat (3674 Tacon 1300kv on 8s).

Still waiting on that Maritimo vid by the way...

Today's run was a joke. So windy and cold. Blowing snow. Still fun I guess. I'll get a vid for sure at some point.

That Daytona will FLY with a setup like that! I'm just looking to have a fun sport boat with this one. I most likely will sell it. It was a spur of the moment type build. Had the hull for a while. Was going to go twins originally. I figured, hey I've got most of this stuff laying around, and I've got a couple hours today.

I'm sure somone will want it. It will be a MUCH better alternative to buying the RTR Genesis.

                              There's a few 1300kv motors arriving tomorrow.

Wow, snow. It was 90 here last week. I really am spoiled. Explains why there are still so many Canadian plates on the road.
