^^ I was thinking the same thing!
Light travels faster than sound, so people may appear to be bright until you hear them speak.

Killer...I would run it twice or 3 times to see where you were. Yes, GPS can glitch but doubtful. I just would make sure and do another run or two to verify.

        That is smokin'!!!!

I just did a balance and a sharping. The problem was that 1 blade had the weight of 2. I'm no pro with props i can just do the basic. I know i need to clay the prop to check the shape or something like that. I will try this 2047 and if is off then i will get a pro.

Before you make a adjustment check how many mm you are. If you would tell me how many mm you are. Your cog will change with the new angle.

If that is an Octura 2047 prop I do not think you will like it. I have used that prop on several riggers and hydros, and even then it needs some work. The 2047 has a LOT of lift, far more than the low-lift Prather props you have been using. You can add cupping to reduce the lift, but that prop will still probably drive the bows down hard. Try it if you want, but don't expect miracles.

Howard, the ABC props are MORE efficient than the Octura x series props.

There is also a little 4.43" of pitch hiden in the trailing edge of each blade. :-)

What esc do you have? I have a swordfish 240hv and run it on the middle setting. What are you look to get out of your boat? Are you happy with just cruising the lake or something faster then that?

I have 2 ABC props here that are the same way. In my experience they have a more "finished" look to them when they are raw than the octura's do, but they are much more heavily biased to one side. Both of mine were way off too. You have to remove a lot of material from one blade to even get it close.
It looks like it ended up working quite well once you got it sharpened and balanced though!

I have had great luck with the v900 props on some cats for SAW runs. But the v947/3 has a lot more blade area than the P230 and may overload your motor - or not. The only way to tell is to actually try it. The v942/3 may work fine too.

The v900s do have a fair amount of lift although not nearly as much as the 1700, 2000 or 2100 series.
You will have to experiment with prop depth on your cat, I had to run my strut centerline even with the sponson bottoms with a bit of down angle at the prop end of the strut with the v900s, but that will vary depending on the hull.
Sometimes moving the CG back is needed, sometimes not.
It will take awhile for the v900 to hook up off the beach, be patient.
