I'm still working out the bugs but i did get into the 90s. It will go faster but I need more time. I am thinking about 95mph is a good number to stop at. Now im looking for a prop that is 1.9" and greater then 3.0

I think i might have just found a prop. I might try a ABC 48.3mm diameter and 86.8 pitch.

Good idea Howard. I've been looking at abc and calcing up stuff the past few weeks. And have some props on order.

Btw. How much does the boat weigh before you put it in the water?

I started working on my genesis and was thinking about a motor change that would push this 100+. 1 motor will do it. The hull is setup i just need more power.

Outrunner or inrunner? Suppo has some outrunners with some outrageous specs. Dont know if I believe them. But if they were true whoa boy.

For me inrunner is my choice. I was looking at your thread, nice setup. The only thing I'm not sure about is stingers, there is no prop angle adjustment, only a fixed prop angle with a up or down adjustment. For me I need this adjustment. When your cog and prop angle match you can really push the limits.

Interesting. But your running a single drive and I can see that being a little more critical. But mine will be twin with counter rotation props. Force will be applied equally from the back if the sponsons. The drives do go - & + angles vertical. But if one wanted a horizontal angle could be achieved by shimming the stinger where it mounts to the hull.
I'm always open to learning and understanding new stuff tho. :)

With my single drive i don't have any problems with the boat pulling to 1 side. I just point and shoot. Maybe your right with stingers, i just prefer a strut. I will tell you the best angle for your 37 another time.

I ordered a new prop so let what happens with it. I tried a panther 235 for 4 runs but the boat didn't handle right, so i put on a 230. With the 230 i got 90.5 but after making 4 runs with the 235. I wish i had more time to test but its windy everyday, its that time of the year.

Well it's too windy there and you don't have time. Just send that boat and your genesis over to me and that R1 you have. I'll put them all to good use for you Howard. Lol
