    Few more

I dont know what happened, but I plugged the esc“s to batterys and a tiny cloud of magig smoke came out of one esc. Still works ok but weird...

I did use arctic silver to glue the watercooling plate to fetts and made sure there was no contact on solder to plate...maybe the epoxy expanded while curing or something? will have to monitor that esc fo now on.

Just weighed the boat and it is 8.6kg“s rtr with the 2x 6s 5000mAh 25/35C lipos .

I first calculated that this would end up weighting over 10kg“s so I“m happy!

Will have the maiden later today ,video will be added later no matter what happens

6meters of pipe insulation and 2x 1.5L empty soda bottles for flotation

need to get about 9 more meters of that pipe insulation until the boat is full.... -this is constantly reminding me how big this boat is.

Can't wait! That hull makes those motors look tiny!
I am in the process of building a 55incher with three of the 1400kv T600 motors and the same esc's.
What props will you be starting off with?
Fleet: 55" Quad inline T600 Cigarette boat, Twin Mean Machine, Twin T600 47" mystery mono, 4082 Surge Crusher, 1717 8s Genesis, 4074 Villain, "mini mono", 52" Bonzi, Prather Funcruiser, 2 DPI 3.5cc tunnels, 5' Styrofoam recover barge

                Uploading video atm.

Maiden went well except the fact that this boat needs battery boxes or something, after first 1 minute run with brand new lipos this happened. the straps did not hold these heavy packs. And some reason one motor was on/off the whole time... maybe one esc ic bad.

Was so close... I allmost burned this thing on the first outing!

so guess why they call these motors outrunners

now where did I leave that shrink tube..

Jacked1 , used 57mm graupners on this outing adn everything was cool afterwards, motors about 50 deg.C and esc“s cold to touch. Batteries were warm, about 35 deg.C.

Thinking I need about 60mm metal props next.

Sounds good! I think with some watercooling on the motors you could get up in the 65-63mm range on the props. I am excited for the vid!

Yes, it did fine on waves also!

Thinking props... -of 3 bladed metal props ,what is next size up from plastic 57mm 2 bladed graupner`-60mm ? -like 6017/3 or something? (L&R)

And this boat(esc“s) would handle 1100kv t600“s well, that is another thing I could do....

but I will start with new props first.

Those esc's could handle the 1100kv and 1400kv motors for sure! Which would almost be cheaper than bigger sharpened and balance props.

Just a thought, go the way of the props as you can start a collection for use later. I have every gas prop I ever bought. It is nice to open the prop box and pull out what I need when I need it. They keep their value too.

Yes, I need to start with props ,I only have smaller props and this 57mm is biggest and only L&R pair I have.

Just need to figure out what to get.

                                These I have installed : Diameter 57mm (2.24"), Pitch 1.4x57=79.8mm or 3.14"

I can only go about 5-10mm longer prop cause of the propshaft lenght.

So the pitch cant be much more then what it is now.
