    Update!

My friend Matti made me these great looking motor mounts.

2mm stainless steel and they are really solid.(and shiny!)

(and they will also fit and hold much larger motors if needed)

Small update: Visa people told me that they will refund the stolen items to me.

So that is good, but I still dont have the hardware! -and I will not order from the same seller again,he did not inform me about the dispute process or even reply to my emails(ok, he did reply to 2 of them but without any help).

I guess it is back to the promise/horr stuff .

It will take a week or two till I get my money back so there is some time to think what to get.

              Ok, finally something to report!

TheGerman made parts I lost are now out of my budget, so I needed something cheaper, attleast for now(I can allways replace these with better parts if needed).

              So I ordered these:

              2x http://www.horracing.com/product_inf...roducts_id=430
-they look cool and even the lenght is adjustable!

              and 1 of these http://www.horracing.com/product_inf...roducts_id=309

I will make a new longer bracket for the rudder, so it will be about the same lenght as the stingers.

All this cost me just 75€ and if I ever get these parts and they work, well hey then I´m happy!

The reason I went with 3/16" instead of 1/4" is that I can try smaller props for starters.

Now I need to find flexes and couplers for this, any ideas? -the motor shaft is 6mm

(is .187 the ticket? -and where to get that in counter rotating also? out of stoc at OSE, restock time Steven )

-or any thoughts of trying twin with props rotating to the same direction? -the counter rotating shafts seams to be hard to find...

Hi m8,good to see your moving forward now, those items look fine.Personally id have gone with 1/4" and used the 1/4" flexes with the turned down stub shaft to accept 3/16" props but im sure you will be fine.Keep us posted on your progress when you get your gear,Jonny is usually very reliable, just be sure to loctite every nut and bolt on the stingers or they will vibrate loose.

Hi Mart, yeah, I did search for the 1/4" shafts that accept 3/16" props, but they were expensive or out of stock everywhere .

I´m on a really tight rc budget this whole summer.(still wanting to get MHZ z-drives one day for this).

I have spent(no, lets say invested) about 2K€ on rc this year so far , and I need to slow down for a while

I allready had ordered different parts from PMB but gladly my friend bought the horr parts from me so its cool.

No if only the PMB Model Boats would reply to my email and let me know if my order is shipped or not...

And my friend also needed the motor mounts I had and ordered me these http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=etti-h010 so its cool also and I got lighter mouts.´

                        I also ordered 2x 6s 5000mAh 25/35c lipos http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9180

                        and new 150w (7A) charger http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=6443

I allready had lrp 50w/5A charger so now I have 2 chargers to use and the charging time is way shorter now.

Hi Mart, that is the email adress I used. He did reply to my first email when my card was refused by the bank for some reason, but I paid using paypal after that and he has not replied since.(3 days)

This is the psu I ordered http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=13765 more positive feedback then negative so I thought I´ll give it a try for that money. (most hk psu´s are crap what I read)

Today I had time to work with this project.

                              -Motor mounts
                              -struts
                              -rudder
                              -stuffing tubes
                              -servo mount
                              -esc mounts

all installed and epoxy is drying atm.

I added one washer per bolt between struts and transom so minor adjustments are possible to strut angle.

Motor mounts were blue, so I painted them black.
they are epoxied in place and layer of carbon on the insede of the mounts.

I also disassembled the esc´s, the water cooling plates had no contact on fets! (plates were crooked and there was epoxy over the fetts!

So I blocksanded fets and ordered etti plates from Steven(they should be here in a day or two). I also got arctic silver epoxy to join the plates to fetts perfectly.

Now I think I need to brush thin layer of epoxy inside, the epoxy I brushed today on mounts,tubes...etc... is so shiny and it looks stupid when the rest of the inside is matt black carbon.

Took pics, but camera is at the man cave where I build this.

                              Tomorrow I only need to:

                              -Cut the flexes
                              -servo linkage
                              -battery straps
                              -1/2 stigs on board
                              -cooling
                              -wiring

I dont have the 6s pacs yet, but if everything works out I can test this with 3s tomorrow(with video).

                              Will update tomorrow.

Pics. Only battery straps to go(after I receive the 6s packs)

                                Notice the esc mounts.

Next job is sorting out the wiring

and the OSE package(etti plates, etc) arrived today also, just like clockwork thistime & everytime, thanks Steven!
