Me too.Its 41,440rpm.I might have to get two more x442's and have them cut down to 40mm.I dont really want this to become a SAW boat,so,if it does,Ill sell the Arcs and get a couple Leopards like you are in a lesser kv,like 2650.Oh,I do have two TFL 38mmx55mm counter props from kintec that I can use too.Comment

Your ARC's should outperform the Leopards of equal size. If kept cool, they will be fine. Guys are running these winds of motors on 5S or more in DF jets, pulling crazy watts.
I have been trying the 36-65 2080 KV in my Whiplash and I haven't got the speed I wanted but, I couldn't heat it up running a CMDI 5083 50mm 3 blade prop. That thing would have melted most other motors but, the ARC didn't flinch. Water is Ice now, no more time to test.Nortavlag Bulc

Ray I think he was worried about pulling too many amps with the 442's. Cupping them will make matters worse as this loads the motors more.FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment

Please be carefull on the AMOUNT of either 2 part pour in foam or the can spray in foam for
flotation.
I have seen in the past where a bit too much has been put in and the foam EXPANDED more
in the hot weather and actually caused the deck to split.

Moving Ahead
The 1st pic is a mock up of the stuffing tube and tube support. The motor isnt mounted yet, just set in place for alignment. The stuffing tube support did get trimmed down in case you wondering about the big square.
I also made bushings for the motor end of the stuffing tubes to center the wire. These arent glued in,just slid in place. The stuffing tube is 7/32,so if I want to ever run flexes I can use .150's with no teflon. The bushings also keep water from coming up the tube.Attached FilesComment

This one shows how I suck at drilling holes.(Or just getting the alignment right for the holes). The right side came out much better.Attached FilesComment

Here is where the stuffing tubes will go.Got them tacked in with CA untill I get them epoxyed in.Also trimmed the stuffing tubes supports. For me,this was the hardest part. Its all down hill from here.My next build might be an ice breaker so I can test the twin FighterCat out.Attached FilesComment
