Oh yeah, I saw Steven got the 1521 1,5d 8mm shaft motors in, but still no 5mm which are the ones I need. Sounds like you got some things done, I'll be looking forward to those pics. My C5000 is sitting under the tree, just waiting to be built :)

Larry, bring some 6s packs over here so we can figure out the CG.

Dom, I got the two 1521's with the 8mm shafts. The couplers are a little big, but I think they will work fine

I was originally planning on getting the 8mm shaft ones, but since I'll be running 2mm wire drive there aren't any couplers I could find. Many more options for the 5mm shaft.

Oh and that reminds me I should order my bats as well.

Here's some pics. The water pickups didn't turn out as well as i had wanted, but they still don't look bad. The motors are just set in place, still need to decide on there final placement.

Lookin good. You can use my 6s packs, but if you arent going to use them,I wouldnt mock up COG unless your going to use them.I dont suggest using them.I think you should get the stuffing tubes in before epoxying motor mounts in too.Just use the motors bolted to the mounts for mocking the stuffing tubes for alignment. It also makes it easier to install the tubes.

Looks good man! And as Larry said, you should get the stuffing tubes in before mounting the motors. I see you're also using a single water intake on each side, I was just thinking over whether I should use single or double - since I bought single. But I think I'll stick with the single to keep it out of the way of the stuffing tube.

Anyway, I really like how it's coming along. Can't wait for the maiden run!

I'm in no hurry to get the mounts in. Just need an idea so I can get the stuffing tubes in.

                        List:
                        1. Stuffing tubes
                        2. Steering
                        3.Motor mounts
                        4. Esc, Bec, Etc...
                        5. Beat Larrys boat.

Hmm, i need to measure mine. It's the original. I thought it was 11, but maybe it's 10. I like those redesigned drives. Look much easier to mount.

Yea I'll definitely stick with the single intakes. They should be enough for each side.
