Why not cut the bottom of the transom overhang out and re-build it? Make it like an upside down tub the the HOTR, Genesis etc. then you could use whatever stingers you want. I mean if your gunna do it...... might as well get crazy. It will give you something else to do.FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment

Oh no, this must be killing Darin! Hey Ryan I didn't even think about that. One more option to consider. I am almost to the point of drilling a 3/8 hole and inserting a "fixed stinger" then jb weld the whizz out of it from the inside.....FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment

Yeah but when finished, how sweet would it be. Its by no means knocking your boat Darin. I cant wait to get one! BUT, if it makes stingers work, why not.
Say no so struts hanging off the transom. As more adjustment as they may be, they make a scale cat look like a toy. JMO of course. If its gunna be done, make it look right.Comment

No No No... Rummy, walk with me... Dont cut it off. Your cutting part of the bottom of the overhang out, then rebuilding it to make "tubs" Look at the bottom of the overhang. In the water, you would never know it was done. I havent looked at the bottom of the MG in person, but Im pretty sure it would workAttached FilesComment
