Hey Blackcat could you post pics of the inside where the water pickups come threw the hull im trying to do my first one and need to see what to do,,,i cut the hole and have a tube but it dont look wright so i dont want to glue it yet...Comment

Thanks for all the encouragement everyone. I'm digging this cat! Hopefully it will do me well.
My first step is to figure out where I want them to go them usually poke a 1/8 hole with my dremel from the inside of the boat out. Next flip her over and masking tape off them sponson and layout the rectangle with a fine sharpie. I then use the cutoff wheel to cut the majority of the area out then use a razor blade and a small needle file to dial the hole size in. The fg or carbon is usually thicker than the lip machined on the pickup so I have to hand file the sides so it sticks out the hull more when installed. I then JB weld the whizz out of it from the inside of the hull. Let it dry a day then bondo the small gap on the outside between the pickup and sponson bottom. Let dry then file the excess aluminum down level then block sand and prime. Hope this helps.FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment

Had the day off and got some good progress made today. Got it painted and put some Carbon/Kevlar in the hatch and made some carbon fiber motor mounts and tacked em down. Getting closer.FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment

Got the motors in and stuffing tubes installed. Going with the Turnigy 36-56-2600's on 4s. Had em laying around and should bring her to 65-70mph range.FE BOATING: Less like a hobby and more like an addiction!Comment
