It's not awesome yet lol. The easiest way to do it is to get it trimmed out good on lower power then apply some serious rpm's! Here is my blackjack twin if you missed it running at 75mph.

Thanks Kong. Got her all zipped up tonight. Left the battery placement "open" until I see where they like to ride. Will run tomorrow or saturday unless something crazy happens.

Great job blackcat! She looks beautiful...can't wait to see how she will run!

As for the bounce...my PIP cat does the same thing at certain speeds (maybe 30-ish?) but it flattens right out when you give it some power...did your single engine cat still bounce at higher speeds?

Keith, it seemed like there was a certain speed that it did then cleared up once it got past that. Maybe around 30-45 then cleared up after that.

It's bondo and glazing putty. Pretty common tools for body work. Can be found at just about any auto parts store or walmart.

                          Nice work.

What are the dims on the stingers you made or bought?

I can turn some of those on my lathe.

How far do they stick out from the transom?

I will try to read more later, sorry for all the questions...

No problem Ray. 3-1/2 long, 1/2 dia down to 3/8" then drilled and reamed 1/4" Will have to wait til I get home for how much is sticking out etc....

Cool, thanks. I'll start chucking up some Alum.

I wanted to make it a twin at first but, got discouraged after I saw the short transoms.

You could be fine with neutral struts, lets hope....

Maybe I could devise some kind of adjustable strut, we'll see, I'm still not decided if i want to twin her out.

Hopefully neutral will work. I was too lazy to make an adjustable set.
