Ok rayster the motor mounts are about 4.5" from transom and the stingers are hanging out about 2.4. Just need em long enough to clear the very back of the boat. Be careful, I don't ever recommend following my builds. lol

Thank you. I must say i was leary at the fixed stingers, then the 65mph came and i said WTH!? Gotta be worth a try.

Less to adjust etc... I suppose.

        I have a Pair of ARC 3655 2800 KV motors on 3S & 4S With DT cupped 442's.

It looks nicer without adjustments too.

Yeah man. I do like not worrying about a blowover tweaking a stinger and having to tune them. When it's fixed, it's just there and all you can do is play around with the COG a little. Makes life easier for me. 2800's on 4s should be pretty quick maybe around high sixties to seventy range.

Blackcat,I wanna see another twin build.Maybe a mid 40" cat. What about twin Leopard 5692's on 8 or 10s?Theres some place in Europe that makes big twin drive props in the 50mm and up range.

Funny you should mention that. I was considering selling off most my stuff and chasing the 100mph mark...Either that or keep everything and build a small twin cat like a micro iceberg or micro drifter. That would be a cool project as well.

If your chasing 100 might I suggest a rigger?I dont really care for them since they dont resemble an actual boat, but I think blowovers would be minimal. But,if you can make a cat stick at 65 or higher, you can prob make one stick at 100mph.

Yeah I don't have the coins for a real turbine.....I will have to settle for a partial turbine sound for now.

Not really. I was debating on different motors for some speed but I have some abc 3-blade's coming in next week. I will test some with those and go from there. If I don't get a decent amount of speed I will move to 1800kv's or 2000kv's. When in need spin it faster!
