Hi Miguel, I wasnt aware they made a 1050kv in the 4092, that would be an awesome setup for 8s or 8s2p.

I have two 4082's one is a 1000kv in my 45" Dumas on 6s2p to reach a scale speed of 37 mph, never had an issue, the other 4082 in the 2200kv is a hot wind and I had an issue with it but am sending it in for warranty.......it ran well for 6 months and got my Pursuit to 53 mph on 4s2p.......something just went amiss with it and dont know.

Well I've thought about the 4092 1050kv on 8s
I run a 4092 2080kv in my PMono DF33 and it kicks!
but when I saw this on Hobbykings site I had to buy one..
so possibly this on 6s in the 1280kv setup and start with a 452/3 prop

Yeah, I saw that one too, Lol! Looks awesome, and the fact you can choose between delta and star setup is pretty cool. Let us know how this one goes!

I get 60 mph out of my 39" Mono with a 1717 on 6s2p...............just a thought.

So I am changing my ideas on power for this one..
may sell off the CC1717 with mount and find a motor to run 8s

who has some ideas for power?
I'm looking for solid mid 60's, or even 70 if I can

Wow, I cannot believe how old this thread is and I actually finished building it this past season (2015)
went with a XO-1 motor and T-180 esc for Q-Mono class, and it hauls !!
did custom rails that fits the custom motor mount and battery tray
I need to upload some pictures cuz it came out real nice
tons of power on 6s with the XO-1 motor
possibly going on the sales block

no matter what prop I threw at it, the motor never went more than 105* f
