westbeach, I just noticed you have HPR115 x2 ?! How did you differ your two babes? what's your setups and speeds ? what's your CoG considerations? Sorry for so many questions, I just love the boat too much.

This Sunday I went to the lake again and had some more data. I was amazed how my Leopard motors ran efficiently, in both performance and cost. I did have a bit heavy runs and finally the ESC's LVC kicked in. My IR thermal gun reads 43°C on the motor and 41°C on the ESC, just slightly warm, very comfortable to touch, and that was right after 5 minutes of fast runs.

LOL...long story short. I traded 2 of my NEU 1521 motors that I had in my first HPR to someone who had a new HPR115 Carbon/Kevlar hull. My first HPR115 is regular fiberglass layup. Which is ready to go, but now needs 2 motors to finish. I was thinking of getting the Leopard 4090 in my first HPR. I have 2 Kontronik Jazz esc for my first setup. I would like to see how she handles, but I will have to wait for a while till I can get some motors that I want. I have not touched the Carbon/Kevlar hull. It is my backup hull. I want to experiment with this first one.

Where does the hull get water for cooling? Are there pickups in the bottom of the sponsons?I didnt see a water pickup in the rudders on the site.

Water pickups are on the underside of the sponsons. I have the gps for my eagletree and the wires are thin enough that I run it out the back undr the top hatch and tape the wire to the hull to water proof it. there is enough room on mine if i slide the hatch all the way forward.

That's what I supposed, thanks for the info. I'll go get one to see exactly how fast my babe runs.

More pictures could be found here, ignore the words if they look too oriental.

They show the whole procedure of how I worked on the boat during last year.

                      My favorite one:

Sorry, looks like the pics are only visible for logged in members, same as here in OSE forums. I was just trying to save Steve some MBytes on his server's hard drive.

Well I will upload it again here. but that's over 100 of pics.
