After exactly one year of building, I put my HPR06(115) in the water. Here are some of the pictures my buddy shot for me while I was driving my boat. Yesterday was a sweet day! Enjoy!
Seaking 180A x 2
Leopard 4175 2000KV x 2
Neu1515 jacket from Steven, modified to fit Leopard motor. x2
Turnigy 6S 5000mAh 20C, two packs in parallel.
Hughey flex shafts from Steven, bore enlarged to 6mm to fit HPR bearings.
Octura X442/X442R from Steven
ABC H1616 L/R from Steven (not yet tried in the first run)
Are you happy with the Leopards 4175 performance on your HPR?? What speeds were you achieving on your runs with the X442's?

HPR115 x2 ,Dark Horse Shovel, Delta Force CyberStorm, Delta Force Sniper 23-RTR:
As the hull is carbon/kevlar constructed I was unable to run with a GPS inside. But this is def the fastest boat I've ever run, approx. 120km/h by naked eye radar. already kinda threatenning to me, I felt the sweat in my hands.
The motors have sufficient power, as this was the fiist run I did't dare to give the throttle a heavy pull. The run ended up with the boat's bottom side up pointing the sky so I missed the chance to measure temperatures. may have more info to share next week.
When I get used to this speed level, I will try to reach probably 150km/h, Leopard has 90mm version of the 40series motors that may help.
Is your GPS waterproof? If not, stick it in a ziplock bag and you can stick it outside the hull, make sure to tape it good to the hull incase of a flip over. Do you have a link where you bought your motor as well as the link to the 90mm version of the 40 series?

Should I order a fiberglass hatch for GPS runs ?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was thinking to buy a GPS extension for my Eagletree elogger V3, silicone seal it and stick it outside on the upper deck, than run the wire into the hull. It's actually just a GPS antenna, as small as a post stamp, easy to seal and stick. The benefit is the Eagletree provides many many more useful information than just a single top speed. From the speed curve we can see how the boat accelerated from 0, how it reached its top speed second by second and how long it stayed there, this will make sure the top speed is REAL, not a fault reading like a normal GPS handset often gives.
The Leopard 4090 motors are future products. I was told they might be available in Sep. but who knows.
