I think if I did it... I'd have to do it with DUAL jets... Just because...
    Good point!
Dual jets? What hull has enough room with a flat bottom?

Thanks Tom! I can't wait either. I just have to mount the motor, servo, and do the water cooling.

the last time i checked the law of gravity wouldnt let rocks float unless your in space.

            I just don't believe it!!

I mounted the ammo motor, servo, and electrics. Placed the batteries inside, then prepared for a tub test. I powered her up, and gave her 3/4 throttle. There was literally so much thrust that she ripped out of my hand and slammed into the front of the tub (below the faucet) and put a hairline crack in the tub. Definitely more thrust in the tub than the 37.MPH Miss bud.
Kinda nervous, maybe I should put a lesser motor in her first.
The tub is only 4 years old, and the hatch was off, so I had a good hold on her (fingers on the inside of the transom)

                Thank you.
I will definitely have to add float foam on her first run tomorrow. (weather permitting)

                    another update...
Dual water pickups & dual outlets on the transom. Right side cools the motor only, Left side cools the ESC only.

Does anyone know if there is a class that a Jet boat could run in?

CLASS "A" in my book. Nice clean job! that jet drive should really stick to the water. Awesome build.

                            Thank you guys.
It started out to be junk, then I decided to play with it. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I still have a lot of projects waiting for me to build up the courage to start them. They're all Scale boats, so I try not to post about them here.
I didn't care one bit about this one, so I had nothing to loose. If I could only have that attitude with the others.

If I had learned a lesson from this build, it is...
Just have fun! the rest will fall into place!
