    well here it is the first model of my outboard,iv mounted it to the back of my 34" F1.
    just gotta sort out the stub shaft & flexi now.
    Im not using this 1 to test,gonna make moulds of it and test the cast version and go from there.
    The motor sitting on top is a 540L again for test fitting.

              i believe thats the only way to get the flex hole in there on a solid piece. i believe your gonna have to cut that in half to make the molds for that, otherwise its imposible to drill a arced hole for the flexdrive

                The casters will sort that bit and use a core in the mould,they ll sort it thats what im paying them for LOL

                  had a brain wave,depending on cost what about instead of being just plain alloy once casted,what you reckon to anodising the OB in colours,red,purlpe,blue,black,green etc,got to make a few enquires but think it would be awesome to offer somthing completely different.

                      Look for anodizing on the net... it is quite easy to do if you're careful. It does involve some nasty chemicals, but it is very straightforward.
