OK, it's all wrapped up and Venom is sending a call tag for it and a full refund.

As for warranty, I'm just SOL.

So... I saw Tower had them in stock... with discount and member pricing... $129 shipped. I needed a couple small things anyway and got the order over the 149 mark for free shipping and discount.

So, a new hull from Tower is on the way! This should be a fun little project. Twin 540's on Aquastar 120's.

Not sure where I'll mount the motors, perhaps farther towards the transom to allow the cells to be installed in the sponsons.

Thanks for the info., It's not going to see the water anytime soon. Still have alot of stuff to order and I have alot of other projects on the go also. I am not going to start the build untill everything is on the bench and ready to install. If the C/C's don't work out I will use them somewhere else. There is so many different ways I could go with this hull. Those Hk outrunners seem interesting too. Are you far off with that build? I'm interested to see how those motors work out.

Yes, and hopefully will refund the original shipping cost too. It was a warranty hull from the last one coming apart.

The out runners for Das Boot are still MIA from HK and will most likely take a month to get here. So... no hurry.

So, Fedex picked up the damaged hull this morning. The new hull I bought at retail for the same price as the warranty "discount" hull that was damaged will be here Monday.

Of course Venoms response was; it will be a week or two before we look at it and then we'll see what we can do.

I just can't believe the amount of *!***!***!***!** I've had to put up with just to wind up empty handed and left without.

Well... for $65 they did replace one ESC and motor.... and for $110 they shipped me a damaged hull that I MIGHT get my money back for...

I wonder how many people they can get away with effing over before they eff themselves?

Anyway, the only Venom part being used in this build is the hull itself.

They did the same crap with my miss elam, sit for two weeks before they open the box for two seconds to see the big azz crack down the side,, thats bull crap if you ask me...

I stopped caring months ago... The only one who lost out of all this is Venom. How many boats did I buy since the EKOS? How many of them were from Venom? 0

Their own buisness stupidity. Although they aren't focused on repeat business, just quick one shot sales. Which they already got.

I would expect this of a cheap knock off, but the knock offs from HK have arrived in much better condition.

Notice the complete lack of hull hatch support? The hatch comes loose in shipping and the packing material holds it against the paint while the box bounces around.

This one is also missing a magnet.

They have never really helped much. They did warranty an ESC that failed when the motor shorted out... but that cost me $65. They warrantied the hull when it came apart... but that cost me $111.... and was damaged when it arrived. So far every time I've worked with their warranty dept... it's cost me... and I'm still working with damaged stuff.


So... I'm just chalking this one up to stupidity. I knew better when I ordered the hull, but took a chance on it... So I get what I get.

I'll try some color match on the scuffs and fill in the magnet hole... Then build it into a kick ass boat.

After all... it's totally in MY hands now.

I thought it was a neet hull and I ordered one came the same way. I sent it back for a new one. I was going to build some hop up hardware but 2 months later and no hull. Venom sucks!IMO
