(or any really good pair of outrunners for 6s)

I ran that 1400Kv outrunner on Sunday in my Promise hobby 29" cat. On old 6S1P cells, himodel 200amp esc, 44mm Y547 prop, it did 50.5mph before water go into the ESC and it burnt up like charcoal.

Thought I had enough conformal on it??? Motor is fine though....
Great motor but, it would last longer on 5S.

A pair of the 1100's on 6S and big props would be nice. Too many rpms on big outrunners and the bearings won't last long....

Do those prop shafts with the square ends fin in those? It looked like that is what you were using and i know they are not very expensive and i am gonna need two complete outdrives for under $80 if i am gonna make it a twin!

FighterCat57 bought new driveshafts from Jeff Wholt Racing and I drilled mine out to use 3/16" stub shafts with regular 130 or .150 cable. I used .150 cable...

Same as Ekos drive shafts but, much better quality!!

Don't do square drive, please. You will like Jeff's stuff, plus a pair of L&R shafts is only $17 + shipping!

Yeah, get the Octura 5mm-062 couplers (or Jeff's set screw couplers) and the EKOS wires from Jeff. Excellent combination and they fit right into the V3 stingers. That way you only have to buy the stinger, not the full set. Use a section of 129 K&S brass for the stuffing tube and don't worry about a liner.. Cheap, easy and rock solid setup!

Plenty of guys on here have gone with the 062 wires and love them.

I am thinking two of these!

or the 3/16th ones but they don't have a price.
That will deff be a little over 60 so then 20 left over for couplers for the motors!

                      I am thinking twin kb45 10xls :D

And i could go with dual strut and rudders and run two steering servos since the back of the mean machine is flat and have a little better control!
Think that would work? This is my first twin can so i am not 100% sure about some stuff!

small foot print and just drill out add a brass bush for 3/16 drives

i did a rough cut out if the dimensions are correct then they will fit on the hotr hulls well (see pic)
you would have more room on the mean machine

I am at almost nothing with my budget and i have a lot of tubing that is 4mm id and fits snug on the outer part of the 3/16 prop so i think i am gonna go with that just because it would be cheeper and easier. I do love the way the new ones look but the other ones will get the job done too. I am kinda tempted to just make some but if they wind up being wrong it would just cost more. I really want to do it for under 250 (without batts) and have it faster and build better than the cheep boats from asia.

I think thinking two of the outdrives from above.
2 kb45 10xls on 6s (i have one already and it useually pulls 80 amps)
                              2 100amp mystery escs
make the rudder and water cooling stuff.
