    Hello

before i planed to built the genesis twinn,i made some testes with the original setup.
I tested the genesis with a 40 graupner carbon prop with 3,than with 5 and last with 7s lipos. With 7s lipos it was very fast (about 55mph) but first the prop was broken, and after this the flex cabel was broken.
Maybe it runs with a better flexcable,a drive with ball bearings and a metal prop.
For the esc and the motor it was no problem.
Now with two scorpion 3026 and octura x447 i hope it runs about 75 mph

    we will see

    bye mudl

Sweet looking build of a twin!
would a single 1515 2200kv on 4s work well in this hull?

Not sure how a 1515 would do, but the 1527 is a monster. The hull actually twists about 25 degrees when the prop starts spinning!

I know, pretty cool, huh? I'll have to figure out a way to get some video of it soon! I'm running the 55/3 prop because the 57mm won't fit!

Nice! I couldn't tell from the vid, but did it seem to pull to the right? I'm having a bit of a pull, but only at full throttle. It kind of twists and then steers right.

I now have a UBEC so I can go to 4s, 5s and even 6s. More to follow soon!

BTW- the shrink wrap over the strut/tube took care of the leak. That and the epoxy in the transom.

He's just mentioned a bit of torque roll out of the hole then nice and stable.

Yeah, I get a bit of the torque roll too, but in the final 1/4 throttle there is a distinct 10-15 degree pull to the right. Perhaps I may have the strut set too low. It is about even with the bottom of the hull.

I get the same torque roll you mentioned. I have my strut level with the bottom of the hull. I will have to modifiy to strut to get it higher.

That' s why a twin setup is better with high power.
Depends of the hull, the Genesis Mystic isn' t very large
