i drive only one 7 s Lipos.
I power both motors with the one pack,because 2x 7s packs are to heavy

I have 3S batteries for my HOTR cat (4 sets), I can use them with the Genesis: 6S 5000mAh for two motors, but I think that run times will be short

Just an update, today's first runs with SBEC on 4s, 447 ran 42.5 MPH

Run time was about 8 minutes, but I brought it in to check temps. Nothing too hot to touch. Wires were a bit hot though.
Using 5mm bullets and 10 gauge wire.

Next step, m445 and 6s

Update:

Couple runs in this AM. Nice calm freshwater pond.

2 x 4s 5k 40c packs, 8 min runtime (15.2v left in pack after run- I pulled it in to check temps)
m445, 43.6 mph, nice smooth and straight. Dropped the strut down and she straightened up.

Temps all under 100F

I forgot the new 6s packs, so will have to give them a try the next time out. Might even drop the prop size to a 440 to help assure low temps and a good starting point for 6s.

Yeah, same file. I know I had to do some servo reversing to get the throttle to calibrate. I don't recall all the issue, but remember I did have some problem and ended up using 70/30 trigger with the throttle trim all the way to one side.

Thanks Fighter, I am using this in another boat by the way..........but, I did reverse the throttle input, all i can get out of it is a wide open reverse sometimes??
