LOL They make 457's in reverse. Never had a boat that big but know 447's are too small.

Ok Avery I did a little research and found a boat Mudl build on You Tube called Xtreme Xhibit. He is running his twin on Lehner 3060/7 which are 1121kv on 10s. That makes his unloaded RPM about 41k. Those produce about 7kw or 7000w. He is running a x457 c/r. You could still have a boat that hauls ass with the Leopard 5692 motors. Leopard motors are lighter also.
Two choices to really fly.....1340kv on 8s, or 1090kv on 10s
Or a more mild setup of 730kv on 12s. These motors produce about 5500w and should really motivate that hull. Hope this helps.

The question is how many lipo cells you want to run.

Concerning mudl: This was the setup of season 09' and he had quite a lot of troubles with it. For further information contact him. This year he ran 3060/8 on 12S with 40.160 ESC's and it was brilliant, just take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA3qpd4SjIk

Anyway, 750kv on 12S, 1340kv on 8s or 1090kv on 10S, the Octura X457 wouldn't be a bad choice to my mind. But be aware that this will drive quite fast too.

                best regards,
                manuel

Sounds good tks all the build will be slow due to funds but only few more months I'll be there think I'll do the milder 12s as don't want to burn nothing

far as props id still recoment starting small coz sometimes the smallers run better i mean chuff has got a 19 pound scale doing wheelies with a 3bladed 646 so common sense tells you two would certainy move that boat. No disprovin anyone but id start in that area and work up if you look at manuels he has 457 CUT DOWN to a much smaller diameter.Lengh of a hull means alot but weight and actual running surface on step matters too.

I do want those panasonics tho if you willing to sell i also wanted to remind you o this this might help you make some prop consideration you can certainly pueh that boat with 447 might not be ideal but you could migh be ideal but id be looking at a 6 series in that diameter just an example 50 plus inch boat with 442's so you can almost know that a pair of 40 plus mm props will work

Proof:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SdG4Kis9NA advice is great real world test are better.

Its a small issue Im just really glad to see you get your powerplants. I love those hulls.

42mm props on a 67" boat? That's about as good advice as those Panasonic brushed 12v motors you advised him to get.
