Well here is a short clip of it with the Neu. It's getting there.

Any new updates on this sweet Rico? I just scrubbed all the goo out of mine tonight. Got a BIG motor coming for her. I wanna see what she can do! These hulls can take big speed. They like lots of weight too.

Nah nuthin major. I made some turn fins that works much better than that carbon fiber ones. Its a little bigger, much stronger and sharper. It holds speeds much better in the corners. I'm pretty happy at where its at so I've just been enjoying it.

Cool. It's nice having a good running reliable setup, huh? I'm going to try the Neu/Castle 1717 in mine. Overkill, maybe, But it will be a blast. BTW What is your Avatar? Been trying to make out what it is for a couple days.

ok i am on board with this build now. i have a cc240, ordered a 1521 1.5d, speedmaster strut and rudder. pm sent for the motor mount. now i just need the hull. what trim tabs are you using? they look big. how about turn fins and flex? i was thinking about .078 wire drive. what cells are you using. that thing looks like a blast!

Trim tabs are accu-tech. There 2" long. They work great. I've changed the fin to something I made. I'll try to get a picture up. Cells are Turnigy 4s2p 4000 40-50c.

Yeah, the Rico likes long trim tabs. I have the same ones.

Those should be fine. I bought mine direct from Accu-Tech. They do a lot of business with Rico Racing so they just threw it in the box and shipped it together.
