      That's basically what I have.

I made a hot box from insulation foam. It's heated by a single 75w bulb with a computer fan to circulate the air. I wouldn't recommend something that elaborate though. A couple of heat lamps will work fine. If you can put it in a cardboard box you won't need to use as much power.

          Noooo, that mount is GORGEOUS!!!

And adjustable!! Plus it's watercooled!!! Once you get your motor, you can find which angle is going to be the best. I'd probably give the motor mount area an extra layer of glass. You can also fiberglass the mount in. It'll NEVER move.

when i do the glass work (if i ever get a chance) i was going to make a 2 layer section for the mount and glass the mount in the hull that was the plan! just need to find out where i want it to sit and just center it up and put it in place.... but this weekend im hopeing for just one nice day that i can just do it.. im thinking next week some time the motor and esc are gonna be hear but dont want to get my hopes up. i really like the mount being water cooled and then the adjustable part makes it nice to mount it low or high and more stright still want the carbon one but this will look at home in the hull.. all i will have left is the thrust bearing and maybe some trim tabs and the batts.. need to save a fue bucks before i go on another shoping spree..

well got to sanding today and about as good as its going to get, my fingers are to big and i dont want to rub another hole through the hull, so i got a fue little spots to fill and going to start working on the nose to fill in that (dent) and remove the old epoxy that use to hold the deck bars on.. friday going to glass maybe tomorrow for sure...

Excellent, picked up a used an abused traxxas nitro vee yesterday. I have been following your build from the start and just could'nt take it, had to have one of my own. I have a lot of work to go before I even get close to where you are. Mine is a bit trashed and there are more than a few cracks in the top deck and one real nice one in the hull. Anyway looking forward to the next step.

Are you still planning on a straight shaft with a flex coupler? Does the motor mount have a slot at the ass end for up and down adjustment? That is a nice mount but not sure how it attaches to the hull, epoxy? Looking good!

The adjustment on the mount is on the front side of the motor.

The mount will attach with fiberglass and epoxy, the holes in the mount are for epoxy to flow through.

yeah bwells i still planning on the straight shaft and flex.. i will post some pics of the motor mount in a bit to show you where you adjustments are and the mount it self will be glassed in.. at 12:00 to day going to start on her and will have lots of pics to post.. also under the motor mount im gonna add 2 layers of fiber glass and the rest of the hull is going to be 1 layer, not going to glass the transom but just going to seal it with the epoxy resin..

see the mount it self is able to adjust very little, the front part of the mount has 3 holes that can change the angle of the shaft of the motor and the rear part has one hole and is able to move a little to line up with the front.

well i chose to glass the transom and layed the 2 layers for the motor mount gonna let the epoxy cure and work on installing the motor mount.. it looks nice but there are some spots that im gonna have to work on sanding down and make it look level but that not a big deal..
