I think that's going to be about 2 times more expensive on the electronics.

    9xl, 120A Aquastar, shipping from hobbycity= $117

    9xl, ICE 100, PiStix, shipping from OSE=$200

The ICE 100 won't handle as much current, isn't watercooled, and will need a PiStix.

You can save on shipping from china by ordering your batts at the same time, but the prices from hobbycity still end up being cheaper with the expensive shipping.

i know its still cheaper then ose but i have had a fue problems with hobbycity and my cash card!! they dont seam to want my money!! so if i have to spend more money for stuff that i want well thats the rout that i will go.. dose ose have any esc that can handle the current with out spending 200 on the esc alone?

huh... Do you have a paypal?

Over the Turnigy Aquastar, I'd go with the Etti 150. A tried and true contender.

I'm running a Mean Machine with a Fiegao 9xl and an Etti 150 & it runs well and just warm to the touch after 4 or 5 minutes! Lipos 2s 2p

Oh I did add the lager Cap Bank that Etti sells - still under $200.00

If I remember right I've got an x442 on it!

2-2s packs in series is 4s.

2s 2p is two 2s packs in parallel.

well started on the outside of the transom, sanding it down and rubed a hole through the deck area so filled that in and got to let the epoxy cure and sand it down and this should be done till paint

I wouldn't trust those batteries to more than 20 amps constant.

Which ain't gonna happen on your hull.

Even if you did have a reasonable setup, 2000Mah would last about 2 minutes.

That hull is shiny!! Your definitely going to have one of the cleanest Villains out there.

In the last post, pic 2 shows a "gutter type" seam which goes all the around the boat where the deck and hull are joined. I have another boat with a more pronounced "gutter" that I was wondering if this could cause lift, sort of a compression hull? Maybe just over analyzing or hoping!
