Update water cooling

I have finished the water cooling in the Cat.

In the first 2 pictures you can see the water enters the motor at the bottom and exits at the top.
Then it travels back down the aluminum tube and exits at the transom (pic 3).

I've put all the servos and the receiver , gyro in to the back of the hull to figure out how I'm going to fix everything .
She's starting to fill up!!!

The Cat is almost at the perfect balance point now, without the lipos.
So it should make it real easy to fine tune the cog later.

Update strut

Got my strut in the mail today.
Thanks Jeff.

So i got busy!! And sorted out the mount for the strut .

As you can see, i have put the strut in the back of the hull to
get the prop close to the end of the transom.

I will make a small access hatch on top of the transom so that i can adjust the strut later if need be.

The rudder and strut are held in place with a aluminum angle 40mm , 25mm
then bolted throw the transom for a very strong and clean looking back end.
Still have to drill the hole for the strut adjustments.

Now to paint her!!!

I bought the carbon fiber kuhlers from AndrewG . http://www.fastelectrics.com/blmotors1.asp scroll down the page and you will see there are lots of choices.

They are very nice looking motor coolers , shinny.

I've finished mounting the strut , all holes drilled and bolted.

Made a water prof area at the back of the transom so if water leaks in past the strut bracket it will be confined in that small place.
Also going to water prof the top and side of the strut bracket with carbon fiber plate and some silicone to stop the water entering the hull.

The strut and rudder set up is solid and is adjusted with 1 bolt, Access will be throw a small hatch on top of the cat.
DONE!!!!
