Looks awesome Rick! Doing the chine like that doesnt cause it to roll in a turn? I know that works on V hulls, just never seen anyone do it on a cat? Did a nice job on it though, as usual.
Thanks Scott,
I tryed a small piece of plastic angle glued on the back 2 section of the chime on my Simrad cat and it help it go around corners a little faster , It seamed to stop the slide out affect , Thats until it fell off, glue wouldn't hold it . Didn't show any signs of rolling in the turns.
So that is why i've decided to do the full chime on the M12 cat fixed solid with car bog and painted.
Should turn out real nice , Gives the side of the boat a new look also.
J.M. ,
The picture is deceiving the fan is about 1" away from the bulk head.
The M12 cut into the carbon plate allows the air to travel around the bulkhead with the fan in it. Should work ok.

I dont doubt your work at all and figured you had done some type of R&D. It does look really good. Im interested to see it go even more now. Will you please hurry up and finish!
The strut is in the mail on Monday. If you want it extra fast then let me know and we can work out postage.
I hope this strut is as nice as the rest.....it is big but should fit well. Wish you would get away from those monster bearings and shafts and then we would have more choices! I am also sending the brackets along even though you said you did not need them...you might find that you do.
