well i hope it wont be too long...im assuming Aeromarine is on vacation for hte holidays. i ordered the hull only last week on weds so we shall see. havent been charged yet and they say they only charge teh card upon shipment. so im waiting to see that on my account then ill be super happy.

called and spoke with aeromarine, hull is shipped out today, they said it should arrive in 2 to 3 days to florida so by the weekend i should have it. great people to talk to and only 15 bucks for shipping. not bad.

hull has arrived today. it came with mor than i thought. has autbailers installed, stufing tube is in, hatch holddown, radio box, servo pushrods and seals, floatation foam, antena mount, and some cooling tubing. now just gota figure out the best way to remove the radio box and the stock mount for the nitro engine.all ill need to buy is the strut and rudder and the flex shaft.

well i got the mounts andbox out. gona clean up the epoxy the used to glue them in and add a few layers of carbon to the hull. ill have pics up tomorrow or sunday. still looking for some hardware.

i know its an old thread but i have finally started on this build. had a few things come up (needed to buy a new car and had some unexpected bills) but now im building it. I decided to build something fairly inexpensive and fun vs all out speed. picked up an aquacraft UL1 2030kv brushless motor. ordering the mount and drive setup. was looking at the octura setup with 3/16 shaft. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...t-oc6str-130da

gonna run the turnigy esc on 4s lipo and possibly 5s for a short fast run.
