The MM hull is probably the best in its size to fit a dual setup. Lots of room for motors.
Motors are cheap and the thrill factor of twins is pretty cool....and look and sound great.
thats why i wanted to do twins on this hull. the 380 size that i posted a link to before is enough to power the 32" cat. but im thinking im going to stick with a single 9 or 10xl on 4s to start then go up to 6s.

If you wanted twins, 540s would be a better choice IMO

smart move man.....if you wernt building on a budjet i would say go with the twins
you will still have a blast with the single and get to finish the boat sooner

yea definately. when i get my tax return ill go with the larger twin hull i posted earlier in another thread. make my zerodefect boat ive been dying to do. in the larger twin im not too concerned about top speeds. more in the 40-45mph range but something that looks good both on the water and on the wall.
alright so heres what im gonna be ordering int he next week or so.
a 10xl motor with OSE cooling jacket.
thinking of trying the 180A turnigy esc unless theres a better one close in price. (dont mind spending a lil more as i can transfer over to other things along the way)
this motor mount: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...509b14&cat=123
i really want this hardware in black: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...-80085&cat=123
and a couple of through hull water pickups so i have one water pickup for each item (esc, motor, and mount)
they do look nice they inline hardware.
they have a few problems tho, because the rudder is behind the prop it can cause the boat to be very squirelly at speed (dart from side to side).
if you ever want to run faster later on or race a offset rudder/strut is the way to go
