    Hey mlaibu 1,

    That paint is awsome.... I mean.. AWSOME! I am suprised you got the paint done before the first fit of the drive and steering gear?!?!? I would just afraid of killing the paint with my tools....
    as faras the paint inside the hull goes, Can you not get the painter to do it?

    Supurb job so far though!!!! :-)

        nice paint work , 1 suggestion mask the baby up so that you don't scratch it when adding your gear. BONEWAR

              use the blue 3m tape, wont leave any residue or risk pulling up the paint. 2 layers in key areas should protect it.

                they came, took a month to get here aswell as a £25 customs charge will mount the motors tomorrow, are you allowed to trim the shafts or not? there like a inch and a 1/2 long...

                        yeah, are you allowed to cut the shafts on those motors or will it throw them out of balance? my only worry is that i create too much heat and ruin the bearings...

                          Why would you cut the shaft? Make them shorter? If so, not there is no problem, you can make them shorter, if you use a dremel be patient it might take a while.
