i will have to agree with wolf, i remember those blue, and those purple lipos from hobbyking, after 4 flights they went in the trash, but now things have changed, they have good reliable lipos, and with your setup, you will never need more than 150 amps, which isnt a big deal for the batteries to give, its not about the money, its about beeing able with the same amount of money to buy 2 more packsComment

if you go w/ turnigy go with the 5.0 40-50 c rated ones! they RULE!!!!Comment

Wolf,
I believe those are the ones that I got. Will see how they work someday when the boat is finished :)Attached FilesComment

2 things tho, there out of stock ATM and the last high powered chinease stuff I tried left a nice stench in a boat aswell as some black marks
if these chinese things go and destroy my hpr it will be the end of rc for me but since a few of your are convinced ill consult the boss and maybe order some... Sls lipos look good aswell yet I could have 3 Turnigy for the price of one
Dang this is a tough decisionHpr 06 / 09 / 150 /185, Mhz Skater H45 hydro.

Have you seen my video of 67.1 mph w/ the turnigy pawered maritimo? Keep in mind its a 12 lb boat rtr...Comment
-
Yes I have, very nice... I was hoping for atleast 80mph but the hpr should weight less than 12lbs completed shouldn't be more
If there in stock before 10th January I'll get a set if not it's going to be sls lipo or polyquests Cant run the boat for 3 months after thatHpr 06 / 09 / 150 /185, Mhz Skater H45 hydro.

I have no idea if the 1527's are to big for the HPR06. I just read other posts on powering a 45ish inch hull and saw that the 1527's looked like a popular option.
I will most likely run it 6S to start and work my way up to 8S after I see how it goes.Comment
